Spring into Action!
Spring into Action: Support Your Neighbors at the North End Food Pantry Drive – March 30th
As we shake off winter and step into spring, many of us are sorting through closets, swapping out cold-weather gear for lighter clothes. It’s a time of renewal—and an opportunity to make a real difference in our community.
On Saturday, March 30th from 10am to noon, join us at the Odd Fellows Lodge (1416 North Avenue, Burlington) for a special Food and Clothing Drive.
We are urgently seeking shelf-stable food donations. After the holidays, food donations typically dwindle, but hunger doesn’t take a break—and right now, the need is growing. Many local families are facing new financial challenges and are turning to the pantry for support. Your donation of canned goods, pasta, rice, nut butters, and other shelf-stable items will help us keep our shelves stocked and our neighbors fed.
But it’s not just food that’s needed.
As you look through your spring wardrobe, ask yourself: Did I wear this last year? Will I wear it this year? If the answer is no, consider donating it to someone who will. Clean, gently used clothing can be a lifeline for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet.
We especially need:
• New socks, bras, and underwear – essentials that everyone deserves, but are often overlooked in donation drives.
• Seasonal clothing for all ages and genders..
This is more than a drive—it’s a way to show up for your community.
Let’s work together to ensure that everyone in the North End has access to the food and clothing they need this spring. Even one bag of food or a few items of clothing can make a big impact.
We’ll be ready to welcome you on March 30th from 10am to noon at the Odd Fellows Lodge, 1416 North Avenue, Burlington.
Thank you for being part of a community that cares—and acts.
